We've been coming here every morning for the past three days coffee is excellent, the food is delicious, the environment is welcoming, and the staff are fantastic. What more could you ask for? Do yourself a favor and check this place out it's a cool spot worth visiting!
The drinks were decent. We paid 80 RPs for 1 passion fruit juice and 1 latte. The staff were friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was cool and airy. The road to this place was a bit congested when we went around noon.
I’ve been staying in Bali for 2 months and I’ve eaten here almost every day (probably over 100 times) for Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner. The food, staff, drinks, and atmosphere are fantastic. They have both outside and inside seating (the AC is great). The location is nestled along the forest ridge over a river, with beautiful plants, birds, and flowers lining the property with comfortable seating options for large groups or one person. Their is wonderful interior seating as well with massive framed windows for natural light pouring through the foliage and excellent air conditioning on those extra humid days. There is an expansive menu with so many varied options, that I have yet to get tired of the menu here. The food is excellent! Sukma and his staff are all very lovely and professional. The staff come instantly and are super responsive/alert to take orders, show you to a seat, and to take payment at the table. Kalos became a mainstay for my stay in Bali and I hope it becomes yours!
Spent the whole day wandering around Ubud. I was confused about where to have lunch, so I finally decided to try lunch here. The menu is very complete. The food is very delicious. I really like the burger. The service is very friendly from both the waiter and the manager. I also work in the hospitality sector and I highly recommend this place for its service and food. The restaurant is very clean and aesthetic. But because I am a person who likes to take photos, it was too crowded so I couldn't take many pictures. Overall, everything is good.
Very nice looking restaurant. Had breakfast, lunch and dinner here. Staff are really friendly. The garden looks amazing. With dinner there was live music. Was very good! :)
We don’t usually trust tiktok recommendations, but we decided to try Kalos anyway since we were looking for a brunch spot in Ubud with ample car parking space (since it can be hard to find in the area). From the moment we arrived, the staff were genuinely lovely- from the servers to the parking attendant. Their hospitality made the experience even more enjoyable. Kalos has a great vibe, with stylish interiors and a beautiful outdoor area shaded by trees. There’s even a section perfect for working remotely, complete with plenty of power sockets. It’s a versatile spot..good for date nights or casual hangouts with friends and family. We ordered the salmon breakfast bowl, the English breakfast, iced matcha latte with oat milk, and jasmine muddle mocktail. The salmon was fresh and paired well with avocado, veggies, and falafel. It was my first time trying falafel, and I really liked it. The English breakfast was almost perfect: the bacon, mushrooms, and beans were great, but the sausage was unfortunately spoiled. It had a sour taste, and we noticed that even the flies and the butterflies were more attracted to that plate than the salmon bowl. We let the staff know, and thankfully they responded well. The matcha latte was okay (not surprising, since matcha isn’t their specialty). The jasmine muddle mocktail was lovely, the jasmine tea was a nice refreshing touch. All in all, we’d definitely come back, just probably not for the English breakfast.
Arrived in Ubud 3 nights ago and eaten dinner here twice. Amazing restaurant and staff are lovely. The setting is paradise and they have live ambient music and the WiFi is also good. Highly recommend.
This has to be one of the most unique places I’ve discovered recently. Located near a busy road, it surprisingly offers an atmosphere of calmness and serenity that feels like a hidden escape. I decided to try something local and went with the nasi goreng and chicken satay, with pisang goreng as a starter. Both dishes were absolutely delicious. The view, the peaceful setting, the fresh coconut, and the friendly staff all come together to create a truly memorable experience. A brilliant spot, definitely a must-visit! For 2x full meal with 4 drinks, 1 dessert we paid under 300k IDR
